Making the money was one problem. Keeping it working was a different and harder one. After the exits I had capital and a question. Where does it go.
The honest answer for most people is that it goes into something emotional. A hot tip, a fear-driven sell, a greed-driven buy. I refused to run my capital that way.
The same rule I built companies on
I built companies by removing the human variable and scaling what works. I was not about to invest by reintroducing the exact variable I spent decades engineering out.
So the requirement was simple. A system that followed my first rule, preserve capital first, and executed without emotion, the way a good business runs without depending on anyone's mood.
I would not hand my capital to a feeling.
From personal problem to product
What started as a way to solve my own problem became something more. The discipline that protected my capital could protect other people's too, running in their own accounts, on the same rule.
That is the whole origin. A refusal to invest emotionally, turned into a system.
