My daughters will never know a world without this technology. So I am not teaching them to be impressed by it. I am teaching them to use it and to see through it.
One: it is a tool, not an oracle
AI is confident and often wrong. Confidence is not truth. Learn to check the work.
Two: judgment is the thing that stays scarce
Anything that can be automated will be. What cannot be automated is deciding what matters. That is the skill worth building.
Three: the edge is discipline, not access
Everyone has the same tools now. The advantage is who uses them consistently. Same lesson as markets. Same lesson as everything.
Access is common. Discipline is rare.
Four: protect your attention
These systems are built to hold your eyes. Owning your attention is going to be a survival skill, not a luxury.
Five: build something with it
Do not just consume the output. Make something. The people who build with the tools will always eat before the people who only watch.
